Be prepared as a battle is engulfing the earth on Elk Studios latest fantasy slot game, Kaiju.  This futuristic slot game tells the story of a war to save mankind from the brink of extinction, and our only hope is the female cyborg, HA-42, but she can't do it alone, she needs your help. Her mission is to defeat the Kaiju creatures by collecting the gems which are on the reels, and helping her do that is lasers, bonus features and up to a massive 7.776 ways to win.

Our Verdict: Kaiju is a wonderfully well-designed slot by Elk Studios.  Following on from other titles by Elk, the game is packed full of outrageous animations and pinpoint graphics.  Before even reaching the main screen, there is a short intro video, which graphically looks more like a trailer for the latest big blockbuster movie.  Then there is the design of the underwater city on which the reels sit, which is visually spectacular for a slot game.  Elk has also added some cool animations, like lasers, as well as a funky futuristic soundtrack.  The two bonus features also add to the quality of the game and make it a well-rounded slot.

How to Play: There is five-reels and three rows on Kaiju, and up to 7,776 ways to win. To win on the game players will spin the reels to land matching symbols in combinations on the paylines; which run left to right, right to left and vertically.  Prior to starting a stake of between 20p and £100 must be selected, with a jackpot of 300x your stake up for grabs.

Wild Symbol: The wild symbol on Kaiju is a power wild. What that means is it is not available to land during standard spins, but, does appear as part of the bonus features.  When the power wild lands is has a special ability to complete combinations by substituting for symbols when it lands in place of the symbol needed. It will substitute for all three gems symbols (red, green and blue), as well as the debit card symbols.

Vertical Laser:  The power wilds are adding to the reels as part of the Vertical Laser bonus feature.  To activate this, a winning combination must land from left to right. When that happens, a laser will shoot onto the reels adding wilds to the position above.

Kaiju Battle Free Spins:  The battle ends on Kaiju on the Kaiju Battle Free Spins bonus feature. To trigger the battle a combination of three of the HA-42 scatter symbols must land on the middle three reels, which awards seven free spins and starts the battle.  During the free spins, hitting hot spots will help you defeat the Kaiju creature by adding sticky wilds to the reels and awarding another free spin. Hitting the hot spots will also increase the number of ways to win and reel positions to a maximum of 7,776 ways to win. The more positions added, the better chance of winning the war!
